Just a few things...

I did absolutely nothing today, which was nice and relaxing. I did go food shopping with Steve (one of my favorite London- activities), and we both bought fun cereals to augment our collection. And more chocolate bars. Cadbury is my new best friend.

Yesterday was a great day- we took a day trip to Cambridge- free of charge I might add. The bus ride was 2 hours. Our tour guide was named Elizabeth.

Cambridge had around 30 colleges within the university, although you can major in anything you'd like in each of the colleges, and in the end you'll earn the same degree. The colleges work more like the houses in Hogwarts, which is why I wish I could go there.

Anyway, we saw where Sir Isaac Newton lived (they planted an apple tree in front of it that doesn't actually grow apples because there are no bees to fertilize it and its too cold), where Steven Hawking went to school, the pub where the double helix was first drawn (for you non-science types- that's the structure of DNA), the road that inspired one of Tennyson's poems, plus we saw Kings College, Trinity College, and other such fun Cambridge colleges that look like a set out of Harry Potter the movie.

What else, what else. We ate lunch at a Spanish restaurant, where Steve and I both ate mildly disgusting tapas, and we later went to a market that was established hundreds and hundreds of years ago, but where we were able to find delicioud chocolate bread twists for a pound each. And hallah bread.

I thought eating too much would be the last problem I'd have in this crazy country.

Ok. Bedtime.

Goodnightttttt and much love, Emily
